The City of Alliance and the Technology Accelerator Alliance (TA2) have developed a new source of capital for entrepreneurs in collaboration with the JumpStart Entrepreneurial Network. The hyper-local loan fund was created to encourage and support promising young tech companies that can go on to attract additional funding, generate revenue and create new jobs in the city. Promising startups based in or willing to locate in Alliance, Ohio can apply for payment-deferred loans of as much as $35,000. Applications for the Alliance Startup Fund’s first round are due by May 24, 2013. Attendees will learn more about the eligibility requirements and application process at the launch event. Potential entrepreneures are strongly encouraged to attend to learn more and begin the application process. Admission is free, but registration is required.
