Portfolio Company AMVONET Secures Jumpstart Investment

ALLIANCE, OHIO: November 15, 2012-TA2: The Alliance start-up technology incubator is announcing that portfolio company AMVONET has secured a $250,000 investment from the non-profit economical development group, JumpStart, Inc.

“This is a very positive sign for the local Alliance, Ohio community and the start-up technology incubator supporting AMVONET,” said Brad Myers, the Chief Executive of the Technology Accelerator Alliance. “AMVONET has a world class technology platform and they are being recognized as such with the JumpStart investment,” Myers concluded.

AMVONET’S President and Founder Vadim Eelen has stated that the funds will be used for hiring personnel further fueling the local Alliance technology landscape. The company’s product focuses on online learning and has three platforms including one that allows students to interact with teachers in real time and record sessions for later viewing. The company will be focusing on the K-12 market with higher education markets targeted as well. Myers, who is also the President of the Board of Education for Salem City Schools, immediately recognized the value of the AMVONET platform in the learning environment and feels they will do exceptionally well especially with the investment from JumpStart, Inc.
